Ian Desmond’s two-run home run in the fourth inning gave the Rockies five runs before recording an out in the frame, which led Colorado past the Phillies. Tyler Anderson delivered a second straight strong start, striking out six over seven innings of one-run ball. Nick Pivetta struggled for a third straight start, allowing six runs over five innings for Philadelphia, which got a solo home run from Jorge Alfaro.
